Fate smiled on our heroes and they awoke in the forms of a young
married couple of about their own age. The new sash-windows had been
sealed up too tight in the middle class home, and the fire had not
been banked before bed. This led to a slow and gentle carbon monoxide
poisoning while they slept. An easy death to triage from.
